It allows the sports club owner to create a fully featured, configurable sports site plus it gives the subscriber the opportunity to select which domain name they would like to use. We have a wide range of sports related domain names to choose from, some examples include rugby, netball and basketball names.
We have allowed a 15 day free trial period for any sports club that is interested in creating their very own sports website with their own name in the sites web address (e.g. clubname.soccersite.tv).

Today we at Itomic acquired our first Apple Mac computer. Why? It's part of our total commitment to quality.
Itomic prides itself on being one of the most standards-compliant website design and development companies on the planet. In theory, this should mean that the websites we develop will performly equally well on almost any reasonably up-to-date Internet-enabled computer. However theory and practice don't always agree.
Like it or lump it, the world is dominated by PCs running the Microsoft Windows Operating System. Worldwide, no more than about 5% of desks have Apple Macintosh computers sitting on them (or under, or beside them). Which of course means that our top priority is in making sure that the websites we design and develop work flawlessly on Windows PCs first and foremost. In theory the same sites should (because of our standards-compliant work practises) work flawlessly on Apple Macs. But customer feedback, particularly from the educational establishment and music industry (where Mac use is more prevalent) has helpfully suggested that occasionally this is not true.
Which is why today we take delivery of an Apple Mac. This computer will have one single purpose: to be a testing machine for our websites - to make sure that when theory and practice don't agree, we can make minor adjustments to our code so that all our customers' websites behave themselves for the widest possible audience.
The end result? Higher quality websites, maximum business benefits for our valued customers.
We've heard recently from a few clients of ours that they've been approached by local SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) companies who claim that they have a special affiliation/relationship with the Google Search Engine.
We've even heard of one SEO who claims that they've been chosen as Australia's one-and-only Google Partner!
These claims and many others made by some SEO firms are simply false. Thankfully Google themselves reinforce this on their website - hear the truth straight from the horse's mouth:
http://www.google.com.au/webmasters/seo.html
As demand for our services grows, we too have grown to meet it.
We are proud to welcome the following people to our team:
Kathleen Balson as our Search Engine & Site Promotion Specialist.
Basil Vlachou as Web Applications Developer.
And our most recent addition, Josephine Coffey as Office Administrator.
Itomic is proud to have been involved with the creation of the Wyllie Group booth at the WA On Show Expo at the new Convention Centre.
By making various changes to the recently (Itomic) designed Wyllie Group website (www.wylliegroup.com) it was made to operate on a Touch Screen Display. This enhanced the interactive experience for those visiting the impressive display.
Certificate IV Multimedia students learned more about the web design and development industry from Itomic.
In what looks set to become an annual affair, Ross Gerring of Itomic visited the Cental TAFE campus today in East Perth to talk with multimedia students.
The presentation was titled "The Website Design and Development Industry: an insider's perspective". With a general emphasis on practical, real-world advice, Ross' presentation covered subjects including:
* What does Itomic do?
* Key Roles/Personnel
* How To Get a Job In This Industry
* What Does The Future Hold?
This is the second time Itomic have been asked to give this presentation, and by all accounts it was well received by all attendees. Ben Townsend (Itomic co-director) was also on-hand to help with questions and answers.
Sibling clients Downing Teal (Global Recruitment Consultants) and DT Workforce (Innovative Recruitment Solutions) both launched their new Itomic developed websites today.

Last Saturday April 24th 2004 was World Squash Day.
On the kind invitation of Andrew Stanbury of the WA Squash Association, Itomic attended a festival of squash at the brand new Next Generation sports and leisure centre where we introduced 'squashies' to our soon-to-be-released 'Squashlcubs.com' product.
Itomic has an personal, historical, and current association with sporting and squash organisations (see squashleagues.com, lords.com.au, wasquash.asn.au). We noticed that the quality of squash club/centre websites generally is very low, and squashclubs.com is about drastically improving this state of affairs. Watch this space!
We would like to welcome our newest clients. Some of whom include Downing Teal, ITC - Integrated Tree Cropping, Frogmat Environmental, Jobs West, State Swim and Australian Plantation Timber.
Itomic today launched a new website for our valued client PNDT. The website is backed by a document management application that has introduced a new level of efficiency into PNDT's business operations.

In a move designed to broaden and strengthen its e-commerce offerings, Itomic has partnered with 'WorldPay', one of the world's largest providers of Internet payment gateway solutions.
Itomic is already a partner with Camtech, the leading Australian payment gateway provider. By teaming with WorldPay, Itomic is now in a position to offer 'true' multi-currency website payment solutions.
Itomic are pleased to announce that today we have introduced new anti-virus software onto our web servers to provide additional protection to the in-boxes of all our website hosting clients.
Now, all inbound email messages (including attachments) are scanned for viruses. If a virus is detected, then
1. The email is blocked - it does not get forwarded to the recipient.
2. The sender of the message is sent an email reporting that the message they sent was infected.
Whilst this new represents an extra level of security and protection for Itomic clients, it is in no way a substitute for effective anti-virus sofware being installed and regularly updated on all client PCs.
This new Itomic service is being provided at no extra cost to our clients.
At the end of January 2004 Itomic is re-locating to bigger, newer, and better offices at City West on the outskirts of Perth City. All existing contact details (tel, fax, emails, etc.) will remain the same, but our new address(es) will be:
Postal address:
Suite 34
City West Centre
Railway Parade
West Perth
WA 6005
Physical address:
Suite 34
Corner of Troode St. and Plaistowe Mews
City West Centre
West Perth
WA 6005
For your interest, one of major reasons we're moving is because we have to! Our building and others on the same strip have been compulsory purchased by the government in preparation for redevelopment in support of the Southern Suburbs Railway ('New MetroRail') project.
Itomic has redesigned it's website to coincide with moving to our new office.
We tried to keep the new look similar to the old one, only fresher so that people aren't confused by the change. The new Itomic.com is powered by clean XHTML markup and CSS to best deliver a useable, accessible, and consistently attractive website experience.
Keep an eye out for the "Eat My Handbag Bitch!" Central Tafe Design & Multimedia
Graduate exhibition; from November 13 to November 18. Itomic is proud to be
a major sponsor of this year's show.
